Nico was the first engineer to join the company in 2009, when he was diverted from a project at Williams F1 while working on his PHD. He initially came to Riversimple for 3 days… and stayed for 6 years as the architect of the powertrain. He has recently returned after a sabbatical year and is once more driving the powertrain development.
