Shonda has thirty years of experience in managing various forms of agricultural products and financial assets. In 2006 she founded Chess Ag Full Harvest Partners, which manages the Full Harvest Agricultural Opportunities suite of funds and managed accounts. Prior to Chess Ag, from 2002 through 2006, Warner was the managing partner of the London fund of hedge funds, Chess Capital Partners. From 1998 through 2002 she was the co managing director, and partner, of Montier Partners, a UK based fund of funds. Before joining Montier, she was an executive director at Goldman Sachs where she was a member of London’s equity derivatives and proprietary trading desks. Before moving to London Warner spent three years in Tokyo running Goldman Sachs proprietary warrant trading business.
Ms Warner currently serves as an advisor to the AGree Project, examining the future of Agriculture in the US. Warner also serves on the board of ACDI-VOCA, one of the US’s foremost experts in international agricultural development, and implementer of US AID in Africa, India and the Near East, and on the board of MENA Capital, a leading hedge fund in the Middle East. Additionally Warner founded the PORCH Society in 2013, a non profit dedicated to the Preservation of Rural Cultural Heritage.
